The Golden Designs Karlstad GDI-8226-01 is a six-person hybrid sauna designed for indoor or outdoor installation. It combines an 8.0 kW traditional electric stove with a PureTech™ full-spectrum infrared system, allowing the cabin to operate in either traditional high-temperature mode or infrared mode.
The infrared system uses 13 heating elements: four PureTech™ near-zero-EMF FAR infrared carbon panels and nine near-infrared elements. The Canadian Red Cedar interior is paired with an all-weather exterior, two large tempered-glass windows, and a glass entry door.
Integrated features include an oversized interior chromotherapy lighting system with red-light capability, illuminated backrest, exterior accent lighting, interior LED control panel, FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and built-in speakers. Traditional sauna accessories include a sandglass, bucket, and scoop.

Operation
The traditional and infrared heating systems are designed to be used as separate operating modes rather than simultaneously.
A dedicated 240 V / 40 A hardwired electrical connection is required for installation.
