Real Wood-Fired Sauna Heat Without Building a Permanent Sauna

The Sweat Tent Large brings the heat, steam, and atmosphere of a traditional wood-fired sauna into a portable outdoor setup that can fit in a typical backyard, patio, or deck space.

At approximately 6 ft × 6 ft with 7 ft of standing height, the Large gives you 36 square feet of usable interior space and room for up to six adults. Unlike compact sauna pods or seated-only portable systems, you can stand up, stretch, move between seats, and share the space comfortably.

At the center of the system is a stainless steel wood-burning sauna stove with a rock basket. Heat the rocks with a real fire, pour water over them, and create traditional sauna steam—all without electrical heating elements, permanent plumbing, or a dedicated sauna room.

REAL WOOD-FIRED HEAT

The Sweat Tent uses a 1.5 mm stainless steel sauna stove with secondary combustion.

Instead of relying on an electric heating element, the stove burns wood to heat the sauna and the included sauna rocks. Once the rocks are hot, you can add water to create steam and adjust the feel of your session.

The sauna is designed to reach temperatures of 200°F+.

QUICKPOP SETUP

The Large uses Sweat Tent’s QuickPop frame, designed to open much like an umbrella.

There are no individual tent poles to assemble and no tools are required for the tent itself.

Initial setup takes approximately 15 minutes, and one person can set up the Large once familiar with the system.

The tent weighs approximately 30 lb and folds back into its weatherproof carry bag when you want to store or transport it.

The 6 ft × 6 ft footprint gives the Large enough room for a household or small group while remaining manageable for most residential outdoor spaces.

THREE-LAYER INSULATED CONSTRUCTION

The tent is built with three layers designed to retain heat while standing up to outdoor use:

• 300D Oxford outer shell

• 120 gsm cotton insulation

• 210D inner shell

• High-temperature TPU viewing window

• Front and rear zip doors

The insulated construction allows the tent to hold high sauna temperatures even in cold outdoor conditions.

A fitted roof cover is included for additional weather protection.

The chimney routes smoke outside while the stove and rock basket provide the heat source inside the sauna.

The Sweat Tent runs on firewood.
